A Word of Caution For Laravel Developers
Regularly changing your API keys is a good practice to maintain security for your application. Today, we’ve just rolled out a new feature that makes this easy and doesn’t require you to pause sending email long enough to swap out your API keys. Here’s how it works:
We’ve made some updates to our API key regeneration tool, but it still works like a charm. You can regenerate your API by going to up to your name and into security. Once there, click the rotating arrows button next to your private key and you’ll receive a new API key. Your old key will also continue to work for 48 hours before automatically expiring. This gives you 2 days to update your code with the new key.
Once you’ve swapped out your keys, you can immediately expire the old key by clicking on the link provided.
We hope this small addition makes it easier to maintain security for your application and your users.
Happy Sending!
