Apple Mail will begin leveraging on-device intelligence to categorize emails into &#8222;Primary,&#8220; &#8222;Transactions,&#8220; &#8222;Updates,&#8220; and &#8222;Promotions.&#8220; This means critical messages like flight confirmations and meeting updates rise to the top, while marketing emails and newsletters get filed neatly away.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This isn\u2019t a new concept, Gmail has been filtering into the Promotions tab for some time now, but Apple is dipping it\u2019s toes a little deeper into the AI waters with AI-powered summaries and intelligence to make the inbox friendly for users.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deliverability boost? The jury&#8217;s still out<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the organization features are exciting for email recipients, the impact on deliverability will likely be minimal if you are a good sender. Apple hasn&#8217;t revealed details on how Mail interacts with external email servers. However, with a focus on user experience, we can expect Apple to prioritize clean, authenticated emails in-line with industry standards.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When Gmail introduced inbox tabs, some senders were worried.
