Commenting, flagging, and tagging are now live in Mailgun Inspect

Teams can now comment on tests, flag emails with issues, and tag teammates to own the fix, all in the Inspect web app.

Keep the feedback on the email. Mailgun Inspect now lets teams comment on a test, flag emails with issues, and tag the teammate who owns the fix. It all happens in the Inspect web app, right where the renders are.

Why should I care?

Email QA feedback lives everywhere. Screenshots in Slack, notes in a doc, “which client was that again?” in a meeting. Approvals stall and issues slip through. This is for teams with more than one person touching a send before it goes out.

  • Review as a team, not a screenshot chain. Comments and flags live on the preview itself, so context never gets lost in a separate thread.
  • See only what needs you. Filter to flagged emails so reviewers spend time on what needs attention, not the whole batch.
  • Route it to the right person. Tag a teammate to assign the fix. They get an email notification, so nothing waits on a forwarded screenshot.
  • Flag it, fix it, retest it. Pair flags with the HTML email editor and close the loop in one place.
  • Bring the whole team. Inspect includes unlimited seats, so everyone who needs to weigh in can, with no per-user cost.

What you need to do

Open any new test in the Inspect web app to start. Sending tests to an Inspect email address? Generate a new one to use the new features.

Collaboration lives in the Inspect web app. It isn’t part of the Chrome or VS Code extensions.
