As MarTech platforms evolve to meet the demands of high-volume, multi-brand, multi-sender environments, the messaging infrastructure powering them can’t afford to fall behind.
At Sinch Mailgun, we’ve made key product investments to support the next generation of MarTechs at scale. This goes beyond improved sending capabilities and includes smarter management, stronger security, deeper analytics, and key automations.
Capability | Feature | MarTech beneft |
Scale Management | Partner API V1 & V2 (V3 coming soon) | Subaccount control, usage limits, and streamlined admin |
Configuration intelligence | Dynamic IP pools | Optimize and safeguard sender reputation |
Operational Insight | Multi-dimensional Analytics | Deep, actionable data across complex infrastructures |
Cost & Compliance | Usage reporting | Centralized cost visibility and accuracy across subaccounts for audit readiness/forecasting |
Security & Control | RBAC API keys | Secure, permissioned access to mission-critical APIs |
We’ve evolved our subaccount platform with the Partner API, now in its second generation (with V3 on the horizon).
Partner API V2 introduces a dedicated, streamlined interface that makes it easy to monitor and secure complex sending. Admins can set custom sending limits per subaccount, giving them tighter control over how traffic is distributed across clients. The update also brings improved visibility into subaccount usage and activity, making it easier to monitor client performance and flag outliers.
What this does for you: Managing dozens or hundreds of client accounts becomes more efficient. Operational overhead is reduced, service tiers are better enforced, and reliability improves across the board.
Managing sender reputation across a sprawling set of IPs and domains creates operational strain. Manual IP assignments lag behind changing sender behavior, which exposes good senders to reputational damage caused by bad actors on shared infrastructure.
Dynamic IP Pools introduces intelligent automation. Domains are grouped into reputational IP pools based on sender behavior and reputation signals. The system adjusts as patterns evolve, reducing the need for manual oversight. Admins can still manually override assignments to support specific strategies.
What this does for you: Risk is reduced, infrastructure management is simplified, and deliverability improves. Manual oversight can be redirected toward deliverability strategy, authentication, or engagement optimization.
Visibility into performance at scale is essential. That’s why we’ve upgraded Mailgun’s analytics stack to support multi-dimensional insight with speed and depth.
High-volume senders can filter data across multiple axes such as IP, domain, subaccount, and status without performance trade-offs. This is supported by an OLAP cube engine that enables real-time queries across large datasets. Connected logs and built-in bounce classification help teams diagnose issues directly in-platform.
Reports can be saved and scheduled, streamlining operational reviews and providing consistent program visibility. From daily issue tracking to monthly usage summaries, teams can work smarter and faster.
What this does for you: This capability supports deeper insight and operational precision. Diagnosing performance issues, segmenting accounts, and acting on reputation data becomes faster and more reliable.
Standard usage reports often lack the depth required by multi-client platforms. MarTech teams need visibility across all subaccounts and access to client-level usage data.
The updated usage reporting allows for a comprehensive look at usage and data across subaccounts. This supports accurate billing, resource forecasting, and client transparency meaning stakeholders gain better access to the metrics they need.
What this does for you: Reporting aligns more closely with how platforms operate. Insights can be quickly applied to billing workflows, product decisions, or client support processes.
Managing access across multiple systems and teams requires structure. That’s why we introduced Roles Based Access Control (RBAC) API Keys.
Admins can assign roles and issue specific API access permissions. Unnecessary access is minimized. This approach aligns with evolving enterprise-grade security practices and enables cleaner operational governance.
What this does for you: This system supports compliance and risk management across integrations. Teams can manage access confidently without compromising security standards.
The MarTech ecosystem is more competitive and more complex than ever. Platforms are expected to deliver customizable, scalable, secure, and performant messages.
These tools and features from Sinch Mailgun are not nice to haves. They support platforms seeking to reduce operational friction, strengthen deliverability and reputation, improve reporting visibility, and meet security standards.
This is a strategic opportunity to align with an infrastructure partner built for scale, visibility, and control.
