One QA fix shouldn’t take five tabs. Mailgun Inspect now has an HTML email editor in the Fix issues tab. All you need to do is click the HTML preview and you’ll be able to edit the text directly. You can save your fix as a new version and rerun your previews and code checks, if you’d like.
Why should I care?
Until now, every fix happened somewhere else. Find the issue, export the HTML, edit it in another tool, re-upload, and rerun the test. After a few rounds, it’s hard to know which version you actually tested. This is the most requested Inspect feature to date.
- Fix it where Inspect finds it. No export. No re-upload.
- See an accessibility issue. Fix it on the spot. When Inspect catches any accessibility, image, or link issues, you can now click on one, which highlights the issue in the code. Then you can fix it right there in the code.
- Every fix saved. Every version restorable. Save each edit as its own version with a note on what changed. Restore any version and copy out the exact one you mean to ship.
- Retest on the same clients, automatically. Save a new version and Inspect reruns previews and code checks. Catch a regression before it reaches an inbox, not after.
